44mm solid core Bespoke FD30 Flush Door with vertical Veneer (pictures in Super Finish Wenge and Ebony) and 4 horizontal stainless steel strips inserted, to keep the surface flat. Vison panel on the side, supplied factory glazed with laminated glass - choice of clear and frosted, standard and 30min fire resistant. Available in a range of colours with veneered frames (linings, door stops and architraves).
Door core is a purpose made multi-layer particle board designed specifically for use in the manufacture of high performance doors. It has FSC and PEFC certification and meets strict requirements of 30min Fire Resistance (44mm doors) in accordance with BS EN 1634, Severe Duty tests under BS DD171 requirements and sound insulation up to and exceeding Rw=35dB.
8mm kiln dried hardwood lippings (or 9mm oak lippings on oak doors) are applied to all edges of the door and are over veneered to maintain an identical look from all sides of the door.
Intumiscent strips fitted into the frames and FD60 core depths are available on request.
Due to natural variation of timber species, the actual colour may vary from the pictures/colour swatches shown above. We have put a great effort into making the photographs look as close to the originals as possible, however due to light effects and computer conversion of the images, they may have visible light reflections, or appear to be lighter/darker on certain pictures. All ordered products will have a natural colour and being manufacturered from the same batch of veneer will be almost identical throughout the order. This is why we recommend that all doors of the same colour and style be ordered at the same time to maintain continuity. If you would like to receive a free sample of veneer (a refundable postage fee applies, see Information > Samples for more information), please select the veneer swatch, click Order Sample button and proceed through to checkout.
