Fitzrovia Elite Aluminium Front Door

90mm thick Elite aluminium range, made to size. Contemporary flush entrance door set with large, vertical vision panel in the centre and stainless steel door hardware, built and delivered in 5-6 weeks from order.

Highly insulated and Part L compliant - U-value 0.98 W/m2K. RC2 security class. CE marked.

 

Door set specification:

- Door frame - 90mm aluminium frame with thermal insulation. Includes low aluminium threshold with thermal break.

- Door leaf - 90mm thick aluminium door. Construction - thermally broken aluminium profile with XPS foam insulation in the centre. Frame and door leaf are flush on both sides. Powder coated (spray painted) to required colour.

- Door hardware - Winkhaus 5 point hook locking system*, 3no adjustable 3D, reinforced roller hinges powder coated in the colour of the door, security cylinder with a turn (5 keys), round cylinder rosette flush with door surface, lever handle inside, lever or pull handle outside - all in Stainless Steel finish.

- Colours available - Anthracite Grey (RAL7016), Black (RAL9004), White (RAL9016), Dark Grey (DB703), Ivory (RAL1015), Light Grey (RAL9007), Red Brown (RAL3099), Blue (RAL5011), Moss Green (RAL6005), Fir Green (RAL6009). All in matt, grainy (structural) finish.

Glass available (toughened quadruple glazing, RC2 Security class) - Clear, Satin (white obscured), Graphite Grey (clear, dark tinted glass), Reflex Grey (dark reflective glass).

- Fixings - door set is supplied with a set of fixing brackets.

 

*Please note - Winkhaus locking system automatically latches when the door is shut and pressing a lever handle will open the door from inside or both sides (if lever handle from both sides is requested). It requires turning a key/turn to engage the hooks and deadlock.

 

Additional options available:

- Ironmongery sets are available in round or square profile**, in 3 different options:

• lever handle/lever handle
• 1200mm pull handle outside/ lever handle inside
• 1600mm pull handle outside/ lever handle inside

**Please note - the round cylinder rosette on external face is always supplied round, regardless of the option chosen.

- Installation kit - Additional complete door installation kit is available and recommended - includes fixing brackets, packers, wedges, screws, installation foam (x2), silicone and acrylic sealants.

- Letterbox (satin stainless steel) - Mila SupaSecure TS008 certified with enhanced security and extreme weather sealing, Secured by Design approved, Kitemarked, ADQ compliant and meets the requirements of the Postal Services Standard.

- Stainless steel spyhole.

Opening configurations:

- Inwards opening, left hand hinges - Viewing from outside, the hinges are on the left, handle is on the right and the door opens into the property.

- Inwards opening, right hand hinges - Viewing from outside, the hinges are on the right, handle is on the left and the door opens into the property.

- Outwards opening, left hand hinges - Viewing from outside, the hinges are on the left, handle is on the right and the door opens out of the property (towards you).

- Outwards opening, right hand hinges - Viewing from outside, the hinges are on the right, handle is on the left and the door opens out of the property (towards you).

 

Door sizes explained:

For comfortable installation we recommend allowing for 15mm gaps around the door set, therefore the door set should be ordered 30mm narrower than opening width and 15mm lower than opening height, rounded up to nearest 10mm.

Example 1: for opening of 1100x2200mm we recommend the door set to be 1070x2180mm.

Example 2: for opening of 982x2078mm we recommend the door set to be 950x2060mm.

The clearance (internal frame dimensions) will be 187mm less than door set width and 88mm less than door set height. Example: a door set of 1100x2200mm will have a clearance of 913x2112mm.
