EuroSpec ES123 37dB Surface Drop Down Door Bottom Seal

Surface mounted door bottom drop down seal for wooden internal and external doors. Push button on the side, releases the seal upon contact with a door frame. The seals are activated by the closing action of the door dropping down to seal only when the door is closed. This leaves the threshold clear and flat without the need for high fixed thresholds.

These seals have been tested without threshold plates and also straight down to carpet. They form an effective barrier against the outside climate, noise, light, fire, smoke and insects and provide a cost effective solution for part E and M of the latest UK building regulations, relating to disability, access and energy conservation.

Provides acoustic protection up to 37Rw dB and fire and smoke protection for FD30 and FD60 fire rated doors. 13mm wide and 40mm high, will seal up to 14mm gap. Available in Satin Anodised Aluminium in variety of sizes and can be trimmed up to 100mm to suit any size doors.
